Terms of Service

Last updated: October 6, 2026. If the English and French versions differ, the French version prevails.

These terms govern your use of Anime Bankai (the “service”) and what you buy on it. The service is published by the person named in the legal notice (“we”). By creating an account or buying a plan, you accept them.

1. The service

Anime Bankai lets you create images, voices and videos with artificial intelligence, edit them, keep them in your Library and share them on Explore. Creations are made by AI models, some run by third parties (listed in our Privacy Policy): results vary, can be imperfect, and the same request rarely gives the same result twice.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 to use the service. Under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy a plan or credits.
  • One person, one account. Keep your sign-in email secure: what happens on your account is your responsibility.
  • When offered, free trial credits are given once per person, network and device, to accounts created with Google. Trying to get them more than once can lead to their removal.

3. Plans, credits and payment

  • Creations are paid in credits. Each one shows its price before you start. Prices of plans and credits are shown in US dollars on the Pricing page, taxes included where they apply.
  • Plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. Each renewal gives the plan's credits for the month; unused plan credits don't carry over.
  • Extra credits (top-ups) are available to subscribers. Top-up and free credits last 3 months, even after a plan ends. Credits that expire first are spent first.
  • Credits have no cash value: they can't be exchanged for money, transferred or resold.
  • A creation that fails on our side is refunded in credits. A creation refused by our content rules is refunded too, except videos refused again and again within 24 hours, as explained on the Pricing page.
  • You can change or cancel your plan anytime from Pricing or your settings. A cancelled plan runs until the end of the month you paid for, then stops renewing. Moving up starts the new plan right away: its month, at its full price and with all its credits, begins that day, and the credits you had stay until they expire. Moving down takes effect at the renewal.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. If a payment fails, the plan may be paused until it's paid.
  • We may change prices. A new price applies to a running plan only from a renewal at least 30 days after we tell you by email, and you can cancel before it applies.

4. Right of withdrawal

Credits are digital content delivered at once. At checkout, you ask for them right away and acknowledge that you therefore lose your 14-day right of withdrawal, as French law allows (article L221-28 13° of the Code de la consommation). This doesn't affect refunds for failed creations, or your legal rights if the service doesn't work as described.

5. Content rules

Whatever you create, import or share must not include:

  • any sexual or suggestive content involving a minor or anyone who looks under 18, real or fictional, drawn or photorealistic;
  • sexually explicit content, or nudity in anything shared publicly;
  • gore, or violence meant to shock;
  • hate, harassment or threats, against anyone or any group;
  • real people without their consent, or anything made to pass as real to deceive (fake events, fake statements, impersonation);
  • characters, logos, trademarks or works you don't have the right to use, when you use them commercially or pass them off as yours;
  • anything illegal, or attempts to get around our checks.

Requests and results are checked automatically, before and after they are made, and a creation may be refused without detail. Anyone can report a post; after 5 reports, a post is hidden until we review it. We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refund of credits used for refused content.

6. What you create

  • As between you and us, what you create is yours, to the extent the law allows rights in AI-generated content. We claim no ownership of it.
  • Everyone may use their creations for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use (prints, merch, monetized videos, client work…) requires a Pro or Studio plan: creations made while on one keep that right after the plan ends.
  • Without a plan, downloaded images and images shared on Explore carry an Anime Bankai watermark. On any plan, they don't, including those made before you subscribed. Don't remove the watermark from a file that has one.
  • You confirm you have the rights to anything you import or use as a reference, and you remain responsible for how you use your creations, including not infringing anyone else's rights.

7. What you let us do

  • To run the service, we store and process your requests, references and creations, and send them to the AI providers that make them.
  • When you share a creation on Explore or your profile, you allow us, worldwide and free of charge, to host, show and reproduce it on Anime Bankai and in its promotion, for as long as it stays shared. Other users may remix it. Unsharing it stops this, except for remixes already made.
  • We don't use your private creations to promote the service, and we don't train AI models on them.

8. Rights claims

If you think something on Anime Bankai infringes your rights, write to hello@animebankai.com with the post's link, the work concerned and proof of your rights. We remove what is clearly unlawful promptly, and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and your creations safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted, and you should keep copies of what matters to you. We may change or stop features; if we close the service, we will tell you at least 30 days ahead and refund unused paid credits pro rata. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.

10. Closing your account

You can stop anytime. To delete your account and its data, write to hello@animebankai.com from your account's email: we do it within 30 days. Unused credits are lost when an account is deleted.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Important changes are announced by email or on the site at least 30 days ahead; using the service after that means you accept them. If you don't, you can cancel your plan before they apply.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. For any problem, write to us first at hello@animebankai.com. If we can't agree, you may refer the matter to the competent courts. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence.
